Adding Password Protection to Your Device
Adding Password Protection to Your Device
For the security of your personal health information, we recommend you enable a passcode or Touch ID to unlock your phone. Adding a passcode or Touch ID protection helps ensure that you are the only person who can access your Wellframe app (and all other apps on your phone).
The passcode is a 4 to 6 digit number that you will type in after the screen goes dark to unlock your smartphone or tablet. The Touch ID is a fingerprint scanner available on many new devices that works just like a passcode. You can add a passcode or Touch ID in the settings app on your device.
iPhone
To add a Passcode:
- Go to your iPhone “Settings.”
- Tap “Touch ID & Passcode.”
- Tap “Turn Passcode On.”
- Enter a 6-digit passcode – this is the passcode you will enter every time you unlock your phone. If you would prefer a 4-digit passcode or alphanumeric passcode, tap “Passcode Options” to enable custom passcode settings.
- Enter your passcode again to activate the passcode on your phone.

- Follow the instructions on the screen to enable Face ID to unlock your phone.
