Privacy Policy FAQs
1. How is your information used?
Wellframe needs some information from you so the app can work. Some examples are your name, member ID, your birthday, or your email address. We use this info to manage your account and to check that it’s really you.
We also collect info about your health. Some examples are what medications you take or your health conditions. We use this info to make the app work for you, like giving you reminders to take your medication.
You can directly message your care team through Wellframe. This helps your care team respond to your needs quickly. We save these messages so you or your care team can read them later.
Some apps can share info. This is called integration. You can choose to let an app like a fitness tracker or blood sugar monitor share info with Wellframe. This way, you and your care team can see the measurements and data. This allows the care team to have more details about your health to support you.
We also save info about how you use the app. For example, we track articles you read or the apps you connect to Wellframe. We use this info to make the app more useful to you and to help your care team better understand your health needs.
Sometimes, we might ask what you think about the app. Sharing your opinion is optional but helps us make the app better. This info is not required to use the app.
2. How is your info shared?
Sometimes, we hire other companies to help us with things like marketing. These companies are called third-party vendors. We only share the info they need to do their job. These companies must agree in writing and are legally obligated not to use your info for anything else. They also must tell us how they will keep your info private and secure before we share it.
Very rarely, we need to share info because of the law. For example, if we receive a subpoena or a court order, we must give the info asked for.
3. How does Wellframe protect your privacy and data?
Wellframe only uses or shares info following all privacy and info security laws, including the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). We only use or share the minimum info needed for Wellframe to work for you and your care team.  Â
We require all new employees to go through training when they start working for Wellframe and every year after that. This training helps make sure all employees understand how to protect your info and keep it secure.
Wellframe uses high level security measures like encryption to protect your info. Encryption scrambles data to keep it safe. Some info is saved in the app on your device, and the app has a password to keep it secure.
Please keep your login and password info secret. Log out of any shared devices. Email [email protected] if you think there’s a security issue with your account.Â
 6. How can members get info in other languages?Â
Wellframe content is available in English, Español (Spanish), and Kreyòl Ayisyen (Haitian Creole). If you have a language need that is not listed, please contact your health plan for your specific care management options.
7. Who is my sponsor?
Some Wellframe content may refer to your “sponsor”. Your sponsor is your health plan’s care team that invited you to use the app.
